PoD: A Tale of Two Liveries

Above you can see the two different liveries that Southwest Airlines uses. The left one is the original beige color scheme that they’ve had for nearly thirty years. To the right is the newer “Canyon Blue” scheme that is gradually being phased into the fleet. Interestingly, Southwest plans to keep three of their aircraft in the original livery to commemorate their original three hubs. I’m not sure exactly why, but I’ve always preferred the older one. What about you?
